1. Purpose of Personal Information Collection and Use

Batchim (hereinafter "the Service Provider") processes personal information for the following purposes. The information collected will not be used for any purpose other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, prior consent will be obtained.

  • Providing and operating the learning service
  • Managing learning progress and performance
  • Serving advertisements (via Google AdMob)
  • Responding to user inquiries

2. Personal Information Collected

The Service Provider collects the following types of information.

  • Required items: None (the app can be used anonymously without any account or sign-up)
  • Locally stored data: Learning progress, quiz scores, streak data, app settings, display name — all stored on-device only via AsyncStorage and never transmitted to any server
  • Automatically collected by third parties (Google AdMob): Device identifiers (IDFA/GAID), IP address, general location data, app usage data for ad personalization

3. Retention and Use Period

The Service Provider does not store any personal data on its servers. All user data is stored locally on the user's device and is permanently deleted when the app is uninstalled. The Service Provider has no ability to access, recover, or restore user data.

The Service Provider does not share personal information with external parties in principle. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:

  • When the user has given prior consent
  • When required by law or requested by investigative authorities through legally prescribed procedures
  • Third-party advertising services (Google AdMob) may collect device and usage data as described in Section 2

5. Destruction of Personal Information

Since all user data is stored locally on the device, users can delete their data at any time by:

  • Using the "Reset Progress" option in the app's Settings
  • Uninstalling the app (permanently removes all local data)

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • View, correct, or delete personal data (via app Settings)
  • Reset all learning progress
  • Opt out of personalized advertising via device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking)
  • Request information about data processing by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

Batchim is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The app does not require account creation, does not collect personal information from children, and does not include any age-restricted content. Advertisements served through AdMob comply with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
